Your Price Is Too Expensive. Here’s How to Reply
When a customer says your price is too expensive, it does not always mean your price is wrong. It may mean they do not see the value yet or the budget simply does not match.

Do not argue
Saying 'we are not expensive' usually goes nowhere.
Instead ask
- Compared with what
- Which part feels high
- What budget were you expecting
Explain what is included
Customers often compare two prices without comparing scope.
Clarify
- Work included
- Support
- Quality
- Experience
- What happens after delivery
Offer a sensible alternative
If the full package is too high, a smaller scope may work.
Keep value
- Reduce scope
- Phase the work
- Remove optional items
My view
Sometimes the answer is still no. That is okay. A good sale is not forcing every customer to buy.
