Custom Web Application Development Malaysia

Your software should follow your business. Not the other way round.

Still running your business with Excel, WhatsApp and paper forms? Staff copying the same thing again and again?

Maybe you don't need more software. You need less mess.

You explain the problem. I figure out the system.

This is usually how it starts

“Lucian, we are doing too many things manually.”

“Everything is in Excel and WhatsApp.”

What I doOne system. Everything in one place. No more searching which file, which chat.

“Staff key in the same thing three times.”

What I doKey in once. The system passes it to whoever needs it.

“Boss still must ask everybody.”

What I do“Sales today how much?” “Customer paid already?” “Stock got or not?” Open the dashboard. The answer is there.

“The software got 100 features. We use 10.”

What I doI build only what your business needs. Easy for your staff to use.

“Too many systems. Too many logins.”

What I doConnect them together, or replace them with one.

“Our previous developer disappeared.”

What I doI check what you have first. Then I tell you honestly: continue, clean up, or rebuild.

What can I build?

If your work has customers, bookings, approvals, payments or reports, it can become a system. Here are 50 ideas:

  • Customer management system
  • Sales lead system

  • AI-assisted business system

Don't see yours? Don't worry. Tell me what your staff do every day. We start from there.

Sometimes I'll tell you: don't build.

If an RM100/month app already solves 90% of your problem, use it. Why pay me to build something that already exists?

Use ready-made software if

  • It already does what you need
  • Your work is quite common
  • You need it running fast

Build custom when

  • Your way of working is special
  • Staff do too much manual work
  • Your systems need to talk to each other
  • You need your own approval rules or customer portal
  • You've outgrown Excel

Same with AI. If a normal button can solve it, use the button. 😄

How I build it.

  1. 1

    Tell me the problem

Show me how your team works now. The Excel, the WhatsApp, the paper.

  2. 2

    I plan the system

Who uses it. What screens. What rules. What reports.

  3. 3

Build & test with your staff

If your staff find it hard to use, it's not good software yet.

  4. 4

    Launch & keep improving

Your business will change. The system can change too. No hit and run.

Bigger systems usually take 3 to 6 months. For big builds, my team and partners help me build it properly.

Don't show me code. Show me what it does.

Real systems I have built for real businesses. Their dashboards are private, so the pictures below are illustrations, not the actual screens.

01 · Finance · Money lending

Financial Customer & Commission Management System

BeforeToo many customers. Too many agents. Too many payments. Too many spreadsheets.

AfterOne system to see the whole business.

The problem

The business had too many customers, agents, departments and payment stages to track manually.

Payments could come in at different times. Repayment needed to be monitored. Disbursement had to be recorded. Agent commissions had to be calculated correctly.

Management also needed to know how much revenue came from each customer, agent and department.

When everything is spread across spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages and different records, it becomes very easy to miss something. One late payment reminder. One wrong commission. One customer record not updated. And suddenly the whole operation becomes harder to control.

What I built

A private financial customer and commission management system that keeps everything in one place. It tracks:

  • Customer records
  • Payment history
  • Repayment status
  • Disbursement
  • Agent commission
  • Department revenue
  • Customer revenue
  • Outstanding payments
  • Upcoming payment reminders
  • Agent performance
  • Records by customer
  • Records by department

Management can see the business from one dashboard instead of asking different people for different reports. Sensitive customer information is kept in a more controlled environment instead of being scattered everywhere.

What became easier

The business can now understand what is happening much faster.

Payments are easier to track. Outstanding items are easier to follow up. Commissions are easier to calculate.

Management can see which agents and departments are performing. Customer history can be checked without searching through old messages and spreadsheets.

It changed a very manual money lending style workflow into something much more organised and structured.

02 · Bazi & numerology practice

Bazi & Numerology Customer Calculation System

BeforeCalculate. Write down. Search old notes. Calculate again.

AfterOne customer profile with the past, present and future in one place.

The problem

Bazi and numerology work can involve a lot of manual calculation, customer history and repeated checking.

Every customer may have a date and time of birth, a personal profile, previous readings, yearly and monthly analysis, important future dates, past consultation notes and follow-up records.

When everything is calculated manually and stored separately, it becomes difficult to remember what was discussed with each customer. It also takes time to repeat calculations and look back at old readings.

What I built

A customer calculation and record system for Bazi and numerology work. It organises:

  • Customer profiles
  • Birth information
  • Calculation results
  • Past readings
  • Yearly records
  • Monthly records
  • Future follow-up dates
  • Consultation notes
  • Customer history
  • Previous recommendations
  • Future tasks

Instead of calculating and searching manually every time, the practitioner keeps each customer's journey in one place.

What became easier

Customer history is much easier to understand. Previous readings can be checked quickly.

Future follow-ups can be planned. Monthly and yearly records are stored properly.

The practitioner does not need to depend on memory or search through old notebooks and messages.

Long-term customer relationships become easier, because the system remembers the history.

03 · Healthcare · 30+ branches

Multi-Branch Clinic CRM & Campaign Management System

Before30+ branches. 30+ different sets of information.

AfterOne system connecting the branches back to HQ.

The problem

Managing one clinic is already busy. Managing more than 30 branches creates a completely different problem.

Each branch has its own patients, promotions, campaigns, revenue and daily operations. Head office needs to understand what every branch is doing.

But when every branch keeps its own records, management may have to wait for reports, ask staff for updates and combine information manually. Different branches may also run different promotions, which makes tracking even harder.

What I built

A CRM and branch management system that connects the clinics with head office. It tracks:

  • Customer and patient records
  • Branch performance
  • Branch revenue
  • Promotions
  • Campaign performance
  • Customer enquiries
  • Follow-up activity
  • Branch reporting
  • HQ reporting
  • Campaign results by branch
  • Customer history
  • Branch comparisons

Each branch manages its own activities, while HQ can still see the bigger picture.

What became easier

Head office can understand what is happening across the group without waiting for many separate reports.

Branches can manage their own promotions and customer follow-ups more clearly.

Management can compare branch performance, and campaign results can be tracked by location. Customer records are more organised.

It is easier to see which branch needs attention and which campaign is working better.

04 · Sports facility · IoT

Pickleball Court Booking & IoT Automation System

BeforeCustomer books the court. Staff still need to manage the court manually.

AfterCustomer books the court. The court responds automatically.

  1. Booking starts
  2. Lights on
  3. Booking ends
  4. Lights off

The problem

A normal court booking system only handles the booking. But the physical court still needs someone to manage it.

When a customer books a court, somebody may still need to open the facility, switch on the lights, check the booking time, switch everything off later and make sure nobody uses the court outside the booking period.

For a self-service facility, this means unnecessary manpower and operating costs.

What I built

A court booking system connected to IoT devices and electrical controls. When the booking starts, the system switches on the court equipment, like the lights. When the booking ends, it switches them off again. It connects:

  • Online booking
  • Booking schedule
  • Customer information
  • Payment status
  • Court availability
  • IoT device control
  • Electrical switching
  • Booking start time
  • Booking end time

This is where software meets the real world. It doesn't only show information on a screen. It controls something physical, based on the customer's booking.

What became easier

The court can run with much less manual work. Staff don't need to switch the lights on for every booking.

Electricity is not left running after customers leave. The booking schedule controls when the court equipment is on.

Customers get a smoother self-service experience.

The business can open longer hours without someone standing there just to manage switches.

Can also connect to smart locks, kiosks, QR, RFID, barcode scanners and printers, if the device supports it.

Connections depend on what each service or device allows (API, permission, hardware).

How much? Tell me what we're building first.

Custom software is not priced by pages. It depends on how many users, screens, rules, reports and connections. Here's a rough idea. After one chat, I'll give you a clear quote.

Small

from RM5,000

Simple internal tool

One workflow. A form, a list, a simple dashboard.

Medium

from RM30,000

Business system

Many users, different roles, approvals and reports.

Big

RM100,000+

Advanced platform

Customer portal, payments, many modules, connected to other systems.

After launch, I'm still here. New staff, new rules, new branch, new report: can change. Honesty keeps my customers. My customers keep my business alive.

Tell Me What You Need

Don't tell me what software you want.

Tell me what's wasting your time.

Show me the Excel. The WhatsApp. The paper. The repeated work. Maybe the answer is custom software. Maybe a ready-made app is enough. Let's find the problem first.

There must be an easier way. Let's build it.

No technical knowledge needed. Explain in your own words.

Common questions.

What is a web application?

Software you use through the browser. Like a booking system, a customer system or a dashboard. No need to install anything on every computer.

Website vs web application, what's the difference?

A website shows information. A web application lets people do something: book, approve, pay, upload documents, check stock, see reports.

How much does custom software cost in Malaysia?

Depends on what the system needs to do. Roughly: a small tool from RM5,000, a business system from RM30,000, a big platform RM100,000 and above. I understand your work first, then give you a clear quote.

How long does it take?

Simple systems can take weeks. Bigger systems usually take 3 to 6 months. I'll give you a real timeline after I understand the project, not a fake fast one.

Can you take over a system from another developer?

Maybe. I need to check the system, the code and the database first. Then I tell you honestly: continue, clean up, or rebuild.

Can you add AI?

Can, if it really helps. But I won't add AI just to sound modern.
