How to Choose an Office Location Without Regretting It Later
A beautiful office in the wrong location becomes annoying very quickly. Staff complain, customers get lost and parking becomes a daily problem.

Think about who visits
If customers rarely visit, you may not need a premium retail location.
Ask
- Do clients come often
- Do suppliers visit
- Do staff drive or use public transport
Check the area at real working hours
A location can look fine on Sunday and be terrible at 9am Monday.
Visit during
- Morning traffic
- Lunch
- Evening rush
- Rain if possible
Look beyond rent
Cheap rent can come with hidden inconvenience.
Consider
- Parking
- Tolls
- Security
- Food nearby
- Public transport
- Flood risk
My view
Choose a location you can live with every day, not just one that looks good during viewing.
